Daniel Fancsali
I am a seasoned software engineer, technical lead, software and systems architect; engaged in all aspects of building great software – planning, design and execution. In other words, depending on my role, contributing through hands-off leadership, hands-on technical activities, or a combination of both.
In any case, I always keep my eyes open for interesting engineering problems – which provide great entertainment and a chance to keep my skills sharp in my free-time…
A few of my current projects…
- The Ultimate Trial Scorecard Tool that is used at (uni)cycling events around the globe.
- Making Linux work on my Asus C100 Flip Chromebook and contributing to postmarketOS as part of this.
- I am an Alpine Linux package maintainer, owning a few packages and contributing to some more.
- Working on Debian Packaging too.
- Contributig to several open-source projects in Python, C, and more.
- Even creating a few of my own:
mdx_smidgens is a Python Markdown plugin for managing shortcodes and templates ;
- μCA – a microscopic on-line certificate authority ;
– amongst others.
- …and sometimes I even assist people with their WordPress site.
